Poquoson Middle School is a great place for young people to thrive.  We value our students and are committed to helping them reach their individual potential.  Poquoson Middle School prides itself on creating strong parent, teacher, student and community relationships.   We recognize that parents are every child’s first teacher and believe that by working together we can make sure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.

We encourage our students to become involved inside and outside of the classroom.  This involvement will enhance their middle school experience.  We appreciate that the middle years of education serve a big role in preparing students with the academic and life skills that they will need to be successful in high school and beyond.  This is a responsibility that we take seriously and we are honored to partner with our families as they embark on this next phase of their child’s academic journey.
