About the Poquoson Middle School PTO
By joining the PMS PTO, you will have many opportunities throughout the school year to volunteer your time or resources. Remember that your participation demonstrates a commitment to educational excellence in our school. With your help, we will continue the tradition of strong parental and community involvement and support for the students of Poquoson Middle school.
Throughout the year, the PMS PTO sponsors many programs for the students and teachers. Membership donations are the chief source of income used to fund the following:
- Donations to PEF and High School PTO/After Prom
- Honor Roll Socials
- Red Ribbon Week
- SOL Prep
- Dances
- Teacher Hospitality Events
- Faculty and Staff Appreciation
- Student Activity Nights
- 8th Grade Celebration
- Battle of the Classes
- Many other programs and events!
